The handgrabber is easy to install and allow you to get started datamining without any hassle. All you have to do is to select “Options>Manual Operation Mode” in the programs top menu, and open the tables you want to datamine on FTP.
Datamining on Full Tilt Poker
FTP Idleminer has a lot of extra features that makes it ideal if you want to leave your computer to datamine while you go shopping or running over night, so you have a batch of fresh hand histories when you wake up.
FTP Idleminer’s built in table opener can automatically open and close tables according to the rules you specify fx. 10 tables of 6-max NL400$ with 4 or more players on each table and 6 active NL200$ HU tables.
If you playing in popular games like 6-max NL100$, the benefits of the table opener is are somewhat marginal (you may be able to get an extra 100 hands/hour), however, if you play in games that often break up, like HU or high stakes 6-max/fullring, you would normally not be able to datamine very effectively since the tables often breaks. By letting the the opening/closing of tables, you will be able to constantly datamine 16 active tables, since it will constantly scan the tables and the lobby, and replace inactive tables with active ones.

- Go to the download page.

Isn’t there a risk being IP banned from FTP because of datamining ?
Hi Blenu,
I can’t give you a definitive answer, since I haven’t played on FTP recently.
If you are concerned it would probably be best to just buy the hands instead, since that can’t be detected.
Please note that this is just general advice, I don’t recommend that you break their T&C. The reason I mention buying hand histories, is that if you accidentally should break the T&C you will always have plausible deniability.
I realize that this probably wasn’t the answer you were hoping for, but I try to stick to the “how to” on the site, since I’m much better at that than interpreting T&Cs and keeping track of when they are changed.
